The first MJ APCD Expansion pack
Announcing my first APCD expansion pack for dedicated APCD users.
What the pack will include:
First and foremost the expansion pack will include a full coastline plot, all ready built, blended and textured ready for you to build your own course on. The coastline features over 3 KM of detailed coastline (that's 2 Miles!!) Thousands of mappings have gone into creating the coastline and cliffs and as you can see from the preview pictures there are an almost unlimited supply of fantastic hole locations along the clifftops. This coastline plot took hundreds of hours to build, with it's myriad textures and mappings.There are actually over 1500 mappings in place to create this unparalleled level of detail. Here is an apcd top view of a small section of the coasline with the mesh turned on showing the intricate detail included.

Creating a believable coastline is one of the most difficult things to do in the apcd (ask anyone who has tried it!), Finally, here is a solution, a coastline completed in it's entirity so you can concentrate on making the course of your dreams.
Once you have completed your course you will be free to make it available to the public for free download or if you think your course is worthy, you can offer it as a p2p course.
I'll be adding a tutorial after the Expansion pack goes on sale which will detail the creation of a cliff top par three much like you may have seen at Cara Brae. I will include a step by step, start to finish guide for you to follow as you create your own spectacular cliff top monument! An EULA will be included that will let you release the course you create as either a free course or as a p2p course if you so wish.
Also included is an ocean panorama that matches the ocean perfectly for a complete professional look.
In addition, the Expansion pack will include more goodies.
For the first time ever, a completely unlocked 9 hole version of one on my Links 2003 courses, Crystal Pines, so you can open it up from within the apcd to look at how I create my courses.
For years people have been asking to see an unlocked section of one of my courses, well here it is. The textures from the apcd file will be automatically imported into your user.lib when you open the course up in the APCD. You won't be able to alter them but you will be able to use them in your course.
Also included in the expansion pack will be a full texture pack that will contain original 515x512 tga's for you to load up into APCD or your graphics program and alter and use as you see fit. You'll be able to change their colour and saturation etc so you will be able to match them to whatever kind of course you have in mind. Green, Fringe, Fairway, Fairway fringe, Fairway divots, Light rough, Sand, Lighter sand, cart path, and deep rough tga's along with 'Mid' textures for the deep rough and fairway will be included in the package.
