Full 'Cara Brae' preview
Well, finally ......... here it is. I've been promising more pics and info for ages so I hope you hadn't given up on me!
My latest course is at last in beta testing, and as the usual suspects hack there way around it in a bug finding manner, I'll post a few preview pics and some course information to be going on with.
The course is set on the West coast of Ireland, slap bang right on the clff edge! Any wayward shooting at the wrong moment will send your ball to a deep and cold, watery grave. You do however have options should you choose not to take the tiger line. Do NOT expect to rip this course apart unless you are willing to take on some very nerve tingling shots though. Safe playing may keep your ball dry but you won't be breaking any course records that way.
I've always maintained that a great course should contain holes of 3 basic styles:
Holes where you have lots of different strategic shot options and can where you can play to your own strengths. A few holes and shots where you really just have to 'suck it up' and go for it with little margin for error and exhillerating holes that are just simply breathtaking to look at and remind you of why you play this crazy game in the first place!
I've attempted to bring this philosophy to life at Cara Brae. ENJOY!
