More Las Joyas pics
As promised here are a bunch more pics of Las Joyas (pronounced Las Hoyas). Obviously first and foremost my goal is realism in both looks and design closely followed by making sure that the course although challenging doesn't become too frustrating. It's a fine line but the beta testers like the way it plays and it's "mod friendly" too so you won't have any putts coming back to your feet unless it's your fault!!
The course is almost complete with just a few crowds and hole previews left to add. Pat Auge has completed his stunning 3d work with the final mappings yesterday. The course has approx 3900 texture mappings on it which I'm sure is a record however it doesn't slow render times down though, redraws are as fast as any of my other courses. I hope the course lives up to expectations.
