Rugged Dune goes into testing

I'm pleased to say that at last, Rugged Dune has gone into alpha testing. At this stage I'll get feedback from some of the guys who's opinion I value most. At this point it's not too late to alter the layout or other major things but I'm happy to say that so far only minor suggestions have been made so the course should go into beta testing this week. There is no doubt that the course is already looking better for the suggestions made and I'm extremely happy with the way the it's shaping up.

In beta I'll get more people involved looking mainly for bugs and minor tweaks here and there. There are still a few things left to do such as add the crowds and tournament objects. Course previews also need to be completed.

Here's a pic of the course looking back from the 18th green area. You can see the 16th, 17th and 18th fairways in the background from left to right. I love the natural low lying look of this pic and it pretty much captures the look I was after. Don't get the idea that this course is flat though - it's anything but as you will find out in short order hehe! Improvements here based on testing are slightly more clumpy planting to break up the grasslands between holes and the addition of lighter more golden grasses here and there which really add to the depth perception of the panoramic views across the course.
