Pacifc Breaks update
I've been continuing to work hard on Pacific Breaks 2003 and I have no doubt that this has been the most difficult course do do by far! I've worked at making the course redraw much faster than previously and that meant getting rid of a lot of redundant verts and streamlining the planting without sacrificing the look of the course.
There have been many little tweaks to the playability with one such being the par 4 18th hole on the 2001 version has been extended and now plays as a par 5. This makes the climax of the round much more exciting as you contemplate a 250 yard carry over the Pacific to safety and a possible eagle 3 to round off your day. Only the brave and skillful with succeed!
I've been dogged by numerous apcd crashes lately which has slowed my progress considerably. Meanwhile here is shot of the 16th hole, a tricky little par 3 along the oceans edge. Hopefully the course will be in beta this week with a release soon after if all goes well. Stay tuned for more pics and details in the next few days.

I've now added some more pics below from the alpha version of the course.
The first hole has been extended with the addition of two new back tees.
The second shot on the par 5 3rd has to cross these two huge bunkers.
The risk reward 7th hole tempts you to cut the corner to reach the green in two.
The redesigned 10th hole has had the tee moved slightly further back and a new fairway bunker has been added to test the middle tee players.
Redesigned 11th teeing area
The tough 13th hole
Lots of trouble for your short iron approach into 14
Over the Pacific to the safety of the fairway can be difficult under the gun!
I'm just adding some splash screens and will start on the hole previews shortly once I'm happy that the holes designs are final. The tentative release date is the 19th of December. Stay tuned for more info.
