What do I need to be able to play your courses?
My courses can only be played in Microsofts Links 2003 golf game. You'll need a full copy of that installed in order to play any addon courses.
I want to play your courses. But I don't know how to get them.
My courses are only available for download via this site. You can find the instructions for paying for and downloading the courses on the purchase page. There is a free 3 hole demo available for ShadowLands and Babylon Ridge if you'd like to try before you buy.
My modem cut me off in the middle of the download. What do I do now?
Please refer to the information you recieved in your confirmation e-mail and follow the instructions provided there. You should be able to use the same user name and pasword to try again. Try using getright (www.getright.com) to help you download the files if it happens again.
I've downloaded your course and want to play it, what do I do now?
The course file you have downloaded is "zipped" you will need a program such as winzip to extract it so it can be played. Unzip the course to your Links2003/courses folder and when you next open up the game to play, you will see that ShadowLands G.C. has been added to your list of available courses. Have fun!
I want to play online on your course with a friend. Can I send him a copy?
No, your friend will have to come to my site and pay for and download the course. You cannot legally distribute lend or copy the course in any way.
I've found the bonus hole and want to play it but each time I hit a shot my golfer faces in the wrong direction. What can I do?
It's only practical to play the bonus hole in practice mode. If you untick "play standard drop rules" in the practice menu, you can move the ball around the course in practice mode by setting the cursor over the ball until it looks like a hand and then you are free to move the ball anywhere you want and play a shot from that location. Once you have located the bonus hole, you can place the ball on the tee area ( behind the markers of course) and then rotate around until you see the hole. You will have to manually rotate your player after every shot. Links was never intended to give you the chance to play an extra hole. However I thought it would be a nice "easter egg"
I haven't received my password mail but I have paid for the course/courses, what do I do?
First of all give it a few hours to arrive, it may get delayed by your mail server etc. Most mails come through within a few minutes. If you are on an MSN or Hotmail account sometimes the automail I send gets filtered out and you will need to let me know so I can send you the password mail manually. I will make every effort to make sure you can access the course as soon as possible.
My login password etc is rejected, what should I do?
If you are a genuine buyer this usually happens when using the AOL or MSN browsers. Make sure you log in to get your courses using Internet Explorer. This has proved to be the login failure reason in almost all cases.
