Course description
Pacific Breaks was originally designed with one goal in mind - to bring the look, sound and feel of oceanside golf to the home computer with a realism never before seen. Now using all the features of the most powerful golf course visualisation tool in the world - the apcd, this goal has been achieved. As you play along the rocky cliffs of Southern California you won't doubt for a minute that you are standing there looking out onto the vast Pacific Ocean as you try and figure out whether to make that long carry to the safety of the distant green!
The course starts inland and after some testing early holes slowly winds its way down towards the ocean. No less than 9 of the greens as Pacific Breaks lie along the it's very edge and you'll hear the waves crashing beside you as you line up your birdie putts.
Pacific Breaks also brings strategic hole design to the fore. Some of the fairways may be wide but you'd best be sure you're on the correct side to ease you approach into some of the more difficult pins. The fairways are generous but the rough can be lethal, a couple of yards of semi rough is all that seperates you from the heavy second cut and then the wild native grasses beyond that.
